Kansas City Social Influencer Katy Conquers Elite?!?

OR . . . . Hear us out . . . Maybe she's just attached to the same PR flack group that the rest of these jabronis deploy.

Which is more likely???? Some KC mom has the world's most rich and powerful people hanging on her every word . . . Or, dishing pr copy is a much better side hustle than dropping off soggy French fries and hoping for a decent tip . . . We'll wait for the answer.

However . . .

We have a saying on this blog:

"DON'T BE JELLY!!!

And that reminds us that none of this tabloid garbage REALLY matters and we'd actually prefer that some KC mom with good connections is now the social media Louella Parsons.

More power to her.

But does that make TKC the bloggy Norman Mailer but even more curmudgeonly and ethnic???

Either way . . .

We always enjoy socialite B.S. if only because it's more entertaining than watching yet another AI commercial featuring Rev. Hamilton seemingly about to hop into a three way with Tom Cruise . . .

Accordingly, we share the premise of this story and the link . . .

New York and LA society discreetly tuned in to the Instagrammer known as KatyinKC, who cited “multiple” sources at the wedding.

The wealthy and powerful figures in the social world are obsessed with KatyinKC. Her name is Katy Hoffman, and she is a 33-year-old registered dietitian and mother of two toddlers who works from the sofa in her comfortable Midwestern home . . .

Hoffman’s Instagram account is the thing “women in the ballrooms and the Upper East Side and the Palisades and Brentwood are listening to, but not following,” said Bush, who was fired from Today in 2016 for a 2005 hot mic exchange with Donald Trump on Access Hollywood, and who now hosts the podcast Hot Mics with Billy Bush.

Social convention dictates that you not be caught liking Hoffman’s posts or following her yourself. But she is “the internet version of Nancy Grace,” Jolie Hunt, the CEO of a New York marketing and communications consultancy said.

And for what it's worth, the last line of that pull quote probably explains everything for anyone with a room temperature IQ.
