Kansas City Mayor Q Takes Heat For GOTV Lee's Summit Stumping

In one of the most violent weekends Kansas City has endured in more than a year, Mayor Q's biggest power move over the past few days has been walking the suburbs. 

Accordingly . . . 

We've noticed criticism across social media and even from local supporters who question the timing of this Democratic Party solidarity. 

In fairness, here's what Mayor Q had to say about it . . . 

Had a great time on the doors supporting Keri Ingle, Michael Scott, Rev. Emanuel Cleaver II, and the ballot issues—“Yes on 6, the Rest are Tricks (so vote NO).”
