A recent story about a Missouri power player doesn't tell us much that isn't already on the ballot.
And so . . . Per ushe . . . We rely on gossip sent our way to fill in the blanks.
Here's what voters should know and what they can confirm for themselves:
NOTICE VERY LITTLE MISSOURI REPUBLICAN LOVE FOR PATTERSON DESPITE DEMS THREATENING TO FLIP THIS STATE SENATE SEAT!!!
There are a lot of reasons for this cold shoulder that we saw coming but insiders remind us that Missouri's "Good old boy" network doesn't need another suburban moderate and continues looking for "true believers" despite shifting demographics across the state . . .
And so . . . We suggest voters listen closely to Patterson in this interview because he seems to confirm suspicions about the deepening divide amongst Missouri Republicans that hopes to turn back the clock rather than realize changing times and the possibility of a world where MAGA no longer leads the discourse even in a truly red state like Missouri . . . Check-it:
"Outgoing Missouri House Speaker Jon Patterson and Rep. Keri Ingle are running in a competitive race to represent Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs and other cities in eastern Jackson County. Democrats are targeting the seat in hopes of breaking the state senate’s Republican supermajority."
