Show-Me UMKC Union Fight Cont'd

Okay, before anybody gets angsty about our lead image . . . Let's not forget that the city college is TKC's alma mater and we had to endure many hours as a solo Latino dude in the cultural wasteland before the institution started "welcoming diversity" with a great deal of enthusiasm.  

And so . . . We assert that we're entitled to be a bit snarky about collective bargaining effort with the caveat that lessons in union organizing can be quite lucrative for those lucky few with the right political connections.

"Laborer’s Local 955, a Missouri labor union, has been putting pressure on UMKC to increase the salaries of its service and maintenance workers from a $16 minimum wage to $19 alongside improving working conditions."
