"Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Adam Hamilton and his campaign are refusing to comply with demands in a cease-and-desist letter from U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall’s attorneys concerning a September campaign ad involving one of Marshall’s former patients.

"The decision sets up a potential legal battle between the contenders, as the competitive congressional race heats up ahead of the Nov. 3 election."
