Platte County Campaign Lit Theft EXPOSED

We honestly didn't think this one would make the news . . .

Read closely and check our work because we're not sure that stealing campaign lit shares the same protections as campaign sign stealing rules that are actually kind of stringent. 

So far, no charges have been filed . . .  

Either way . . . 

We used to clown politicos for getting their feathers ruffled by this kind of thing and Platte County has always been guilty of taking themselves too seriously . . . And so . . . Without (much) judgement we share this local political intrigue . . .  

Platte City police are investigating an independent candidate for Platte County presiding commissioner after a doorbell camera recorded him taking campaign material from a person’s front door.

A Platte City homeowner alerted Republican Platte County collector candidate Jim Bosch over the weekend that someone had taken his campaign literature and other candidates’ flyers from their front door.

“Enraged,” said Bosch, describing his emotions after learning about the alleged theft.

Platte County candidate under investigation after doorbell camera captures flyer theft

The campaign literature was hanging on the homeowner's porch door, and their doorbell camera recorded the person taking it.
