KC Remembers Mayor Q's Downtown Stadium Maserati Quote

Actually, tonight we notice very few locals bother to recollect anything Mayor Q says or at least they're not holding him accountable for it. 

To be fair . . . These words are probably less important than the unfulfilled pledge to curb local homicides to under 100 . . . Which never happened.

One of our newsie betters almost got this right but forgot the car reference . . . So we're making the reference with a much more fun and sloppy photo collage for our blog community.  

Better yet . . . We, apropos for #TBT, have the exact quote . . . In 2019 Mayor Q said this about new digs for the Royals: 

“We need a new downtown baseball stadium like I need a new Maserati. It’d be cool to have, but I don’t have the money.”

And now . . .

The city hall honcho notes today's NO VOTE legislation as, seemingly, one of his crowning achievements.
