Kansas City Mayor Q Offers Assurance Amid AI Bubble Debt Threats

Something interesting to consider . . .

Despite so much working-class grief over inflation and the cost of living . . . The market continues to move forward powered by AI even as the smart money has been expecting a crash correction for more than a year.

Historically, October is always a sketchy month for global finances and it's kinda clear faith in an eternal AI boom is quickly starting to crack.

The bright side is that those of us on the low end might not notice the difference beyond having more company to join us scrounging around urban areas for scarce resources . . . Again and again . . . The open secret is that the American middle-class continues to fade.

Bright side . . . Mayor Q remains eternally optimistic or at least wants to refute financial concerns when drastic market moves make new stadiums seem like an even worse investment.

Accordingly, here's the upbeat economic word from a Mayor who hasn't ever made much mention of the fact that all of his tenure has occurred under a budget that remains structurally unbalanced.

Check-it . . .

"Kansas City’s financial reviewers remain confident in the City’s ability to weather the global economic challenges and rising prices ahead.  With our responsible budgeting policies and strong staff management, the City will continue to focus on what’s most important: basic services for your neighborhoods, taking care of our employees, and growing a great city."
