Kansas City 'Home Of The Chiefs' Anthem Argument Redux

Apropos for our #TBT traditions . . .

ONCE AGAIN WE NOTICE THE TRADITIONAL ARROWHEAD "HOME OF THE CHIEFS" DEBATE RESTARTING AMONGST FANS!!!

This one is kinda like Groundhog Day inasmuch as it's ongoing for the past 30+ years . . . BUT still something that locals often argue about when they're running low on things to worry about . . .

Check-it a recent letter to the editor from our favorite community newspaper . . .

"In an effort to be the most dedicated fans, you are disrespecting the Service Members who allow us the freedom to enjoy things like football. You are teaching our youth that it is acceptable to disrespect our National Anthem every time you overpower the original lyrics to say “home of the Chiefs” instead of “home of the brave.” The National Anthem was not written for the Chiefs, but for Americans to remember the sacrifices made so we can live in a free country. This disrespect of our National Anthem is a slap in the face to all the veterans who have sacrificed so much."
