Kansas City Democratic Socialism Disappoints Ahead Of Midterms

We notice that some of our conservative friends are "rediscovering" local socialists and their antics in order to inspires some kind of excitement amongst the electorate that seems more worried about grocery prices and employment rather than culture war. 

Sadly . . .

Kansas City Democratic Socialism has failed to achieve a breakthrough moment. 

Surprising on the coasts simply haven't resonate in flyover country.  

In fact . . .

Kansas City's foremost Democratic Socialist Hartzell Gray didn't even make it past the primary despite years of local advocacy and a solid mainstream media credentials that he'll likely never be able to achieve again.  

One last fun fact . . .

The local chapter of the DSA seems less than enthused and in their absence that leaves our second favorite troupe of activists . . . The PSL . . . Nope, that's not Pumpkin Spice Latte but the KC branch of the "Party for Socialism & Liberation" . . . Here's their call to action that hasn't garnered much traction but seems defiant and optimistic nevertheless . . .

We believe a better world is possible, and that together we must fight for a better future.
