Kansas City Chiefs Fans Doubt Butker Comeback: Midterm Omen???

Let's start this scary Kansas City week in typical bloggy fashion . . . With sketchy and spooky political theories.

First . . .

We notice that even Hollywood mogul, podcaster and local Democratic Party leader Jason Kander describes the struggles of Kansas City Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker by way of political spin.

The quote . . .

"Must be a lot of women in that stadium with exposed shoulders because our kicking game seems really off."

Okay that was lame and references an old controversy without a setup and offers a paltry punchline . . . We can only hope Kander hires better writers in his movie adventures.

But still . . .

We have a theory we want to share by way of a question . . .

IS FRUSTRATION WITH HARRISON BUTKER'S SLUMP INDICATIVE OF MIDTERM SENTIMENT CHALLENGING MAGA?!?

Sure . . .

This leaves some of our moderate GOP football fans out in the cold but they've been getting the shaft since the Reagan years . . . So I'm sure they're content to suffer.

Meanwhile . . .

The reality is . . . Without the political intrigue . . .

MANY KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FANS ARE CLEARLY TURNING ON BUTKER: IS THIS JUST THE BEGINNING?!?

The upside . . . This crisis is easily solved with more victories and better kicking which will make everybody happy . . . Until that point . . . Here's an apt quote and more reporting . . .

"It's beyond time for Brett Veach and Andy Reid to begin looking for other options at the kicker position for the rest of the 2026 season and beyond. I've been holding off from saying this, quite honestly, all the way back to the 2025 campaign.

"Just because of what Butker has done for the franchise, how much the team has invested in him financially, and the belief that I had in him to get out of his year-plus-long slump. Well, after six games this year, Butker is no longer in a slump. This may just be who he is now."

Chiefs need to start putting some external pressure on Harrison Butker to perform

It may finally be time for the Kansas City Chiefs to pull the plug on Harrison Butker once and for all and look for external options at kicker.

Harrison Butker had been walking on a tightrope. Against the Los Angeles Chargers, his poor performance had already put him on high alert.
