Actually, it's not bad . . . But qualified buyers could get a better amenities somewhere else . . . Like Monowi, Nebraska.

"The ribbon cutting for The Mabion apartment complex in Kansas City’s Beacon Hill neighborhood was scheduled for Wednesday. Located at 2732 Forest Avenue, the 57-unit building contains one to three-bedroom apartments and 11 apartments for families who were previously unhoused families.

"A 590-square foot, one-bedroom apartment starts at $1,046 a month on Apartments.com. A three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit costs $1,439 per month. Rents for the supportive units are lower.

"The $19.3 million project is named for the family whose church used to stand on the land one block off Troost."
