We notice this local activist group attempting to cling on to the courthouse contender . . . 

Check-it:  

"Her answer starts inside the institution. She stresses transparency and says she would audit the books, fill empty leadership posts, professionalize county government and fix the assessment system. 

"From there, she pitches government as a vehicle for material investment back into the community — public transit, county infrastructure, small businesses, homeownership and anti-poverty alternatives to counter a carceral approach to public safety."
