Fact Check: Johnson County Determines Kansas U.S. Senate Fight

A bit of local political perspective . . .

THE FATE OF THE GOP U.S. SENATE MAJORITY AND KANSAS POLITICAL HISTORY HINGES ON HOW MANY VOTERS JOHNSON COUNTY DEMS CAN TURN OUT!!!

The margin is high but consider this question . . .

Has Senator Marshall bothered to show his face in JoCo, the state's biggest population center, at all during his tenure???

So we can't blame "blue counties" for this shift entirely . . . The "takeover" seems more like an unwillingness to debate or even show up from some of our more conservative friends who are tragically confined to keyboard fighting.

Either way . . .

Check the prognostication from a political expert . . .

"For Hamilton, the path to victory runs through Johnson County. Washburn University political science professor Bob Beatty says the Democrat would need to win the county by more than 20 percentage points, exceeding the margin Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly secured there in 2022, while avoiding major losses elsewhere."
