Council Dude Argues 'Local Control" & Next Kansas City Police Chief

Once again, and likely signalling and upcoming mayoral run, we notice Councilman Johnathan Duncan front and center amid a critical Kansas City discussion.

The latest message . . .

COUNCIL DUDE DUNCAN REMINDS US THAT THE NEXT CHIEF WILL CONFRONT TRENDING DEMANDS FOR KANSAS CITY "LOCAL CONTROL" OF POLICE!!!

For the record . . .

Over and over we TKC tries tell locals that this conversation is REALLY about city hall getting their mitts on the EPIC police pension fund but that's too cynical and difficult for mainstream newsies to talk about public even if elected officials have long been ON RECORD about their intentions.

And so . . .

So many clueless Kansas City newsies would like to think this conversation is about meaningless ideas like "representation" and "social justice" when it's REALLY just another money fight leveraging useful idiot activist protest like just about every other conflict in this world.

To be fair . . .

The council dude seems earnest in his sentiments and efforts for his constituents to be included in the conversation . . . Check his message . . .

"Just because we don’t have local control doesn’t mean we can’t be loud. Tell me what you want to see in the next police chief."
