Activist Coalition Slams Crackdown Against Mizzou Palestine Student Group

Amid an ongoing legal fight . . . Here's an update on student protest activism and a surprisingly diverse coalition of supporters entering this politically charged debate.

Community activist groups are calling Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway's investigation into a Mizzou student activist group, "an abuse of power."

Hanaway announced in September that her office was investigating Mizzou Students for Justice in Palestine's fundraising ties to "radical Islamist terrorist groups."

On Friday, 10 grassroots organizations across Missouri released a statement condemning the Attorney General, state officials and University of Missouri administration for their "smear campaigns" around the student group.
