Umpire Ejects Kansas City Royals Manager Quatraro Amid Shouting

It's always nice to see the home team going down fighting, even as the season slips away with the only real victory is that they avoided losing 100 games.

"In the bottom of the eighth inning in what became a 6-3 Royals loss to the Miami Marlins, first base umpire Nestor Ceja called a balk on reliever Victor Vodnik, which would’ve forced home catcher Carter Jensen from third base with Kansas City trailing 6-2.

"Instead, an umpire meeting reversed the decision, prompting an angry Quatraro to exit the Royals dugout, question the decision and escalate his frustrations into a screaming match with crew chief Chris Guccione."
