Thelma's Kitchen Closes On Troost But Meals Still Available

A neat idea in serving the needy didn't pan out . . . But, thankfully, the resources are still there for those who need it . . . Here are more deets:

Thelma’s Kitchen is an extension of Reconciliation Services, a nonprofit that provides services, including meals, to people in need in Kansas City. Reconciliation Services manages the Pay It Forward Cafe.

Leadership said the doors to the main space are closed, but another set of doors remains open. People can exchange Pay It Forward tokens for take-home meals at a separate entrance at Reconciliation Services.
