The Ringer podcaster Bill Simmons took exception to Swift's behavior, arguing that no other celebrity could get away with behaving in the same manner.
Simmons said: "Kelce scores a touchdown, and they cut to the Taylor Swift replay, and she's pointing to a ring and going, "That's my husband".
"I didn't know how I felt about that one. I don't want to enrage the Swifties, but I'm trying to think of any other celebrity who could have gotten away with that.
"I almost feel like she's pushing the line to see 'what can I get away [with], how obnoxious can I be in the box without there being a backlash?"
"And I think that's about as close as we're gonna get to the line."
