Admittedly or not, most TKC readers clandestinely believe that partisan cheerleading is for paid hacks, shills or suckers.

Our moment of doubt is constant.   

Accordingly . . .

We can only find a bit of comfort is leaders who admit challenges and find a way to move forward without seeming like CLUELESS hype men. 

And so this quote from a conservative outlet offers more insight than most . . .  

"Outside groups such as ActBlue are pouring in an incredible amount of money to advertising — perhaps $20 [million] to $60 million worth," former Republican Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer told us, referencing the online fundraising platform widely used by Democrat candidates and progressive organizations.

Colyer believes Hamilton will be strongest in reliable Democrat bastions such as Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, and Manhattan.

"But Sen. Marshall shouldn't write off the Kansas City suburbs in Johnson County," Colyer added. He recalled that when he was running for lieutenant governor alongside then-Gov. Sam Brownback, "we carried them and, like [Marshall], we had strong pro-life records."

Colyer also said he believes that reliably Republican Western Kansas "will come forward and President [Donald] Trump will rally the troops for Roger. And he should win."
