Newsflash: Stacy Lake Probably Won't Solve So Many Jackson County Dilemmas

The sitch for those who don't know it . . .

Local skeptics understand that a sizable chuck of the courthouse is PROBABLY trying to get a deal with the feds in order to stay out of the can . . . Which is hilarious but doesn't really leave much time for serving the electorate.  

Here's a much more optimistic view . . . 

"Longtime political names flocked to the race in the primary, including current and former county legislators and the former mayor of Lee’s Summit. In the end, lawyer Stacy Lake won the Democratic primary and will oppose Republican Alan Rohlfing, a 31-year military veteran and human resources professional.
