After the feds have maintained over two administrations that they're NOT GIVING THIS PROJECT ANY CASH . . . The fate of the project remains questionable and 12th & Oak would really be going out on a limb to push it through.

"The City Council’s infrastructure committee advanced plans on Tuesday that would contemplate using $51.6 million in bond funding to move the future Roy Blunt Luminary Park over Interstate 670 toward construction. The future park — named for the former U.S. Senator who helped secure federal funds for the project — would help reconnect the downtown loop with the Crossroads, midtown and beyond decades after highway construction sliced through the city’s core and left neighborhoods disconnected and scarred.
"The committee advanced the proposal without a recommendation either way. The City Council could give final consideration of the funding plan on Thursday."
