He called community activist Louise Lynch "homophobic" and "antisemitic" and wrote, "please help stop Valdenia Winn and her Lynch mob (praise the pun)."
"When you invoke racial violence on social media, using my name directly with a lynch mob — I teach history, but anybody in the United States knows the history of the United States. And lynch mob is not a kind word, a soft word, especially from someone who teaches debate," Winn said.
Winn requested and received a court order from Wyandotte County Judge William Mahoney protecting her from Kevin Kinsella, the speech and debate director for KCKPS and a high school teacher.

Three elected board members for Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools now have active protection orders against a district teacher after he made a "lynch mob" comment on social media.
