Missouri Supreme Court BLOCKS MAGA Congressional Redistricting

Here's something we wanna notice first before the griping even starts . . .

This isn't a decision from a "woke" court given that Republicans have controlled the governor's office for about a decade.

In fact . . . Out of the seven judges on the court, five were appointed by Republican governors and two were appointed by Democratic governors.

There's a promise of appeal but it's unlikely the Supreme Court will take the case and even less likely that they'll overturn the decision.

So basically . . .

CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER STAYS WINNING TODAY & THIS IS AN EPIC FAIL FOR MISSOURI REPUBLICANS!!!

Actually . . . Anybody who has looked at recent polling understands that it's not entirely impossible that Congressman Cleaver would have won anyway . . .

And the low-key fact that we've noticed is that rural Missouri didn't want to share a district with Kansas City and few of our Missouri GOP friends acknowledged that . . .

And so . . . Here are the basics for now . . .

"The Missouri Supreme Court has unanimously blocked new congressional districts backed by President Donald Trump from being used in the November election and ordered a statewide vote on whether to uphold or reject the new map.

"The decision Thursday marks a rare setback for Republicans in a national redistricting battle. Republicans had hoped Missouri’s new congressional boundaries could help them win an additional seat and hold onto their slim House majority in the midterms."

And here's the most important part . . .

"Congressional elections will be held in the district lines drawn in 2022, the court ruled. The court reversed the decision of Secretary of State Denny Hoskins that the referendum plan was not allowed under the state and federal constitutions."
