"Kansas City is set to host its first-ever Sapphic Con, a three-day festival built to give queer women and nonbinary people something the city has long lacked: dedicated, recurring space to gather, create and perform together. Running Friday through Sunday across multiple venues, the festival is slated to include ballroom, film, drag, cabaret, wellness programming, panel discussions and nightlife under the theme 'The First Taste,' according to Sapphic Con."
