KCFD Seyz Firefighters Should Self-Report Criminal Charges

Local hotties and leftist protesters have to fear the they'll be tracked across the metro and nation if po-po has a crush on them. 

The age of data-driven mass surveillance has been upon us for quite some time but public employees are seemingly on still on the honor system when it comes to serious allegations against them. 

Whilst all of this is probably the result of well-intentioned union protections . . . Here's a peek at an update in policy if only because the newspaper still manages to sell a few copies by chronicling so many misdeeds of the dudes at local firehouses . . . Check-it:   

The directive involves criminal conduct and accountability.

"Kansas City firefighters are entrusted with tremendous responsibility, and our community rightfully expects the highest standards of conduct from those who serve it," Chief Craig Buckley said in the news release "This directive is about reinforcing the values that have long guided the Kansas City Fire Department. Accountability, safety, integrity and service are fundamental expectations of public service."

According to a news release, the directive reminded employees of their responsibility to report pending charges against them, and the department's authority to respond when an employee is arrested or convicted of a crime, including offenses involving allegations of bodily harm or threats of bodily harm.
