Kansas City Vietnam Memorial Hot Mess Worsens With Time

At one time . . . This was one of the most impressive displays in the Midwest. 

Along the way there have been a few cleanup efforts . . . But now the structure is moving closer to getting beyond repair . . . With fewer Vets and community support to maintain the structure. 

Here's the word: 

"At first glance, the memorial is striking. But a closer look reveals cracks, crumbling concrete and litter filling the fountain and surrounding areas."
