Kansas City Serial Killer Juror Pens Heartfelt Open Letter

Check the testimony at the conclusion of a gruesome and tragic episode in local history . . . Check-it: 

"The juror declined to be interviewed, but penned a three-page letter in which she said she wouldn’t talk about what was said in deliberations over the course of four days. But she did note after sitting through the two-week trial that people living in different situations could receive different attention.

"She wrote she was proud of the effort, patience and seriousness the jury gave their discussions.
She also said she was grateful to the people who worked for almost a decade on this investigation, but did offer a word of caution to crime scene investigators.

"For two weeks, 12 Jackson County jurors heard the tragic, and at times, gruesome, details of the deaths of five men and one woman between 2016 and 2017. Many of those killings happened along or near the Indian Creek Trail . . . The juror expressed the need for everyone involved with the trial to pay close attention to their mental health afterward. She closed by offering an observation about what she perceived to be potential differences in levels of attention given to investigations of victims in different circumstances."
