Kansas City Police Investigate Deadly Gunfire Near Paseo Academy

Kansas City police were dispatched just after 8 a.m. to a home in the 4900 block of Michigan Avenue, blocks from Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts. 

Responding officers found a man inside suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers rendered first aid until paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him deceased.
