Kansas City Mayor Q Seyz Democratic Socialists 'Not That Scary'

Amid midterm campaign season and upcoming Halloween spooky season . . . Here's a bold statement in an interview where he backs of "international policy" of The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) but defends their domestic agenda . . . Here's a quote and then a link to an important interview that offers a new peek at the cowtown Overton Window . . . Check-it: 

"I'm not DSA, I don't know if DSA likes me . . . These are actually people. People try to 'paint horns on them' and make them seem all bad. But at their core, I think you are seeing vastly better message discipline from the DSA as well. What are they talking about? They're talking about housing. Follow the Zoran Mamdani social media: He's talking about filling 200,000 potholes, improving the parks of New York City . . . These are not the kind of the things of saying: Let's abolish police . . . It's getting harder and harder to just cast the DSA as some sort of Looney Tunes outfit on the left-wing. They're getting a lot of head nods from people who are saying 'Yeah, we're also concerned about big tech." 

"We also have real questions about data centers being built all around our community." 

"And they're seeing there's one branch of political discourse that's part of it as opposed to a compliant corporatist branch of Republicans AND  Democrats, I would argue . . . (I get thrown in that too sometimes) . . . That gets people a lot more concerned.

"I don't actually think it will be that easy this time around for Roger Marshall, in the 4th quarter, to run a bunch of ads that say 'Oh, be scared Adam Hamilton is like a 30-year-old congresswoman in New York.' Because he's not.

"I actually see what they're talking about, they're not that scary."
