"NorthPoint Development has officially acquired the 3.1-acre former Bar K site located at 501 Berkley Parkway on the Berkley Riverfront. The Kansas City-based developer, which owns the adjacent 355-unit CORE apartment complex, purchased the land from Chaotic Bongos LLC on September 4, 2026. The transaction follows the popular dog bar's unexpected July 2025 closure and subsequent Chapter 7 bankruptcy."
