Independence Council Dude Suffers Recall Defeat After Data Center Vote

DESPITE DATA CENTER SUPPORT FROM PREZ TRUMP, INDEPENDENCE VOTERS TOOK DOWN COUNCILMAN JOHN PERKINS FOR HIS CONTROVERSIAL DECISION IN SUPPORT OF BIG TECH!!!

This is significant for many reasons but mostly because it's not like Independence, MO is a progressive enclave and what it really means is that grassroots resistance confronts elected officials pushing these controversial builds.  

Here are the basics and more reporting . . . 

District 1 Councilman John Perkins was recalled during a special election on Tuesday, with unofficial final results showing over 68 percent of voters in the district supported the recall.

Perkins' term will end once election results are certified.

He had been elected to serve through June 2028.
