We don't know where Helling is getting his polling data from but most mainstream sources still show the Kansas U.S. Senate race favoring the GOP.
Nevertheless . . . Here's a neat theory about future campaigning from the veteran newsman . . .
"It will be hard to walk away from the president in November, particularly with an opponent like Adam Hamilton. (Polling has been scattered, but most believe it’s now a margin-of-error race.)
"Will Hamilton make Trump-Marshall an issue? It isn’t clear. The link may be the subject of third-party ads in the race, and it’s possible the Democrat will try and stay above the argument and let others do it for him."
