The tragic demise a local prosecutor offers some perspective and confirmation that even small town life in Missouri might be more "complicated" than most voters understand.
More to the point . . .
The public is starting to get a better picture of Zahnd's actions behind the scenes as more people start to come forward . . . And, just as law enforcement has confirmed, the investigation is ongoing.
Additionally, it's becoming clear that Zahnd left a SLOPPY E-MAIL TRAIL of so many of his misbegotten political flexing ON A COUNTY SERVER NO LESS.
Again . . .
Tragically, this is all important news for a lot of people but we can't help but notice attention for this story falling off as voters mostly takeaway worsening distrust in local government.

"Investigators asked questions about allegations involving bribery, corruption and offers of political favors.
"FOX4 also obtained a signed document that was provided to the Missouri State Highway Patrol as part of the criminal investigation.
"The document appears to show Zahnd agreeing not to pursue potential criminal charges against Presiding Platte County Commissioner Scott Fricker if Fricker resigned from office."
