Downtown Kansas City Luminary Park Desperation Worsens

Local news mostly reports upbeat pressers and fake news about corporate donations.

What most locals miss . . .

- Feds have CONSISTENTLY REJECTED funding for this questionable and probably dangerous project. 

- Luminary Park plans have been dramatically scaled back. 

- Did you know it was a PRIVATE PARK PLAN to start??? 

- The real goal has always been NOISE REDUCTION for nearby luxury hotels and dwellings. 

- And what always angers us . . . Private donations are mostly just backed by press release with NO WRITTEN COMMITMENT OR ESCROW to back up the FAKE SUPPORT for a sketchy corporate welfare effort. 

In fairness and because we all know that lack of maintenance will likely kill somebody in the not too distant future . . .
