Vance announced Operation Heartland Surge and Operation No Doze, two programs to prosecute fraud from COVID-era initiatives like the Paycheck Protection Program and to prevent people suspected of fraud from applying for future government-funded business loans.
“If you’re thinking about defrauding the American taxpayer, skimming off the top, taking a program that is meant for hungry children or needy mothers, don’t do it. Go get a job," Vance said. "This administration is not going to let you steal from people."
