The local talker and aspiring courthouse politico isn't excited about the upcoming season.
For those who don't know . . .
Dale Carter is an award-winning Country Radio Hall of Famer who has long served as the program director and morning show host for KFKF 94.1, and he famously spent 16 seasons as the iconic public address stadium voice of the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
However . . . Nowadays . . . He seems more focused on public service.
Here's the word sent our way by BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS . . .
"Last year was tough for me. I felt like the Chiefs put me in a no-win situation so I walked away. As they told us every Christmas we spent away from our families, you had a choice. In 16 years I never missed a game. I spent off-time stressing about the team. This year, I am at peace. The pivot is complete!
"I have no hard feelings here... simply don't care, don't follow it, have moved on. If I get elected to the Jackson County Legislature, I'll spend the next four years working on the FUTURE of Truman Sports Complex and getting the BEST deal for Jackson County taxpayers... regardless of how that impacts the Chiefs... or Royals for that matter."
