"A Community Crisis": Chastain Targets Mayor and Media Over Blocked KC Ballot Petitions
"A (proposed) $3B Stadium & $3B Green Transportation System are 2-massive projects that would greatly impact the City's future. As you know, Mayor Lucas is leading a base & clandestine effort to suppress a Vote on both these Petition-related matters.
"If I am able to convince the Federal Court (I'm filing a Writ of Mandamus next week, Pro se) to order the City to place the Clerk-Certified Monorail Initiative on the April 27 Ballot, it will likely follow that the Stadium Petition (since it is in the same boat) will be ordered on the April Ballot as well. In that event, they will be passing out boxes of 'Depends' @ City Hall & Sherman's office.
"I think you will also agree that protecting the Vote in Kansas City is paramount & of far greater consequence than the ballot outcome of either issue.
"The fact KC's media has been unwilling to pin Lucas down as to why he has refused to place both of these voter-mandated Petitions on the Nov. 26 Ballot (and now, not even the April 27 Ballot) greatly compounds this Community Crisis. It will be a disgrace on this City's history if the People are prevented from Voting on these 2-Public Petitions of great Public consequence even though they played by the rules to obtain a Vote!"
