Credit where it was due . . . Former Mayor Sly was correct to give this project its walking papers and NONE OF IT looks even close to turning a profit.
Sure, it's really nice and seems like a great place for politicos and BILLIONAIRE FAM to party whilst passing the bill onto Kansas taxpayers by way of nice Heartland sentiments pulled from buckets of red ink for BAD DEBT.

The new $375 million, 390,000-square foot American Royal campus — designed by Multistudio and JE Dunn — features five distinctive barn gables, 3,744 cattle ties, 1,528 horse stalls, and up to eight simultaneous arenas. The new barns played host this weekend to their first of five fall events, welcoming the Royal Showcase Horse Show to the complex.
