After years of pushing this scheme at KCI, city hall finally gave up . . . Sadly, our clueless local chattering class didn't get the memo on why their plans won't work . . . Check-it: 

"When Evergy focuses on fossil fuels rather than renewables and incentives for less power consumption overall, it becomes party to the mayhem. Evergy should look for a less destructive alternative. One intriguing possibility: a solar array on city-owned land adjacent to Kansas City International airport."
