Court Deadline Looms for Clay Chastain’s Legal Challenge Against Kansas City Officials
Clay Chastain News Release: Tuesday is *Petition D-Day*. Will a Court Come to the Rescue of a People who have Lost their Freedom to the 'Freedom Takers'... KC Mayor Lucas & the City Council? The 'Freedom Takers' Refuse to allow the People their Constitutional & City Charter - Right to Vote in the upcoming Nov. Election on Two Clerk-Certified Petitions (Stadium & Monorail).
September 8th @ 5 pm is the deadline for the Court to grant Chastain's Emergency Writ of Mandamus ordering the 'Freedom Takers' to stop blocking a Public Vote & place a Valid Petition on the Nov. Ballot, as mandated by the Voting Public.
What are we doing to let the 'Freedom Takers' (unilaterally) decide 2 - Huge Public Matters - not the Voting Public?
What are we doing to let the 'Freedom Takers' speak down to us & tell us there will be a Vote Someday, just not Today?
What are we doing to let the 'Freedom Takers' commit $1.0 Billion of Public Money (to an entertainment project for a "Billion" aire) without a Public Vote?
What are we doing to let the 'Freedom Takers' deny the People a Vote on a Monorail Petition to make KC a Green, Prosperous & Transit-oriented City?
Pray the Court Free the People from the "Freedom Takers"!
