Weekend Shooting By Westport Security Sparks KCPD Investigation

A reality check for this aftermath report and an open question . . .

DOES ANYBODY STILL GO TO WESTPORT OR HAS ROUGHER CROWD CHASED MOST OF THE PAYING CUSTOMERS AWAY??? 

The go-go glory days of the 80s and early 90s are long gone . . . And, to be fair, the district has survived GENERATIONS of bad behavior . . . Still . . . The current epoch seems defined by high-end hipster places shutting down and a great deal of locals loitering and without much commerce.

Accordingly . . . 

Here's a peek at a recent incident that garnered some traction via social media as well . . .  

"Police said the incident resulted in a physical altercation that escalated, resulting in the security officer firing his weapon.

"Detectives are still working to identify the people involved and are gathering witness statements.

"KCPD said there have not been any shooting victims that have been located or come forward as a result of the incident."
