In fact, insiders suspect that her tenure might just continue business as usual . . . Whilst many contend that early behind the scenes commitments to "house cleaning" signals that she's being used by more clever political allies.

"Stacy’s coming in hot wanting to blow up the system, but she clearly doesn't get how courthouse politics works. You can’t pass a damn thing without the Legislature, and right now, Freedom, Inc. controls a five-vote bloc that she has completely ignored during her campaign. They are absolutely going to leverage their representatives to freeze her out if she doesn't start playing ball. 

"She wants to be a reformer, she says she's going to clean house, she has great ideas on how to improve Jackson County. But you can't pass ANY OF THAT without a vote of the Legislature and right now she doesn't have the ability to deliver on her promises.

"If she doesn't figure out how to manage this conflict fast, she’s going to end up just as isolated and deeply unpopular as Frank White was before the recall."
