"Santa-Cali-Gon Days was established in 1940 to celebrate Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Calif., and Oregon trails.
"The proposed curfew applies to minors under age 18 from the Thursday of Labor Day weekend through noon on Labor Day Monday."
