Online Gambling Bug Increasingly Infects Younger Kansas City Doods

We think most public safety warnings are silly . . . HOWEVER . . . Given that Kansas City has seen so many people lose their credit, cars and homes to the rise of American gambling . . . We feel like it's an addiction that's a bit more serious than most and the impact is quicker than smoking or gambling for those who can't manage risk.

"As gambling becomes more prevalent in society -- with legalized sports wagering now available in both Kansas and Missouri -- a recent study found 36% of boys between 11 and 17 years old have gambled in the past year. Researchers say the gambling bug can often start with loot boxes and skins available through video games."
