MAGA Cuts Impact Kansas City Head Start

Call it cruelty OR cost cutting . . . Either way the reality is that this one likely makes life harder on the low-end . . . Check-it: 

"The Trump administration is proposing to eliminate most federal regulations governing Head Start, a move that local program directors say could fundamentally change early childhood education in the Kansas City area.

"The proposal, put forward by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, would cut 1,400 regulations from the program, which provides free preschool, health care and family support services. Supporters say the changes would save more than $2 billion and give local programs more flexibility. Critics say the move could erode program quality and reduce standards."
