"Following a five-day fugitive enforcement operation to ensure the safety of federally assisted housing communities, 40 people in Kansas City were arrested in connection with numerous violent and repeat offenses.
"According to the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), multiple federal and local law enforcement agencies, including the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General (HUD OIG), the USMS Western District of Missouri, and the USMS District of Kansas, partnered together for Operation Clean House."
