Voters who approve an EPIC INFLUX OF CASH for KCPS buildings were stabbed in the back this month when public school officials decided that NEARLY HALF A BILLION BUCKS couldn't devise a better solution . . . Check-it:
"The former William Cullen Bryant School in Brookside has sat empty since 2009, giving Kansas City Public Schools 17 years to figure out what to do with a handsome, four-story, century-old brick building in one of the city’s nicest neighborhoods.
"Last week, the district finally announced its answer: Sell it to a developer who will demolish the historic structure and replace it with 14 big, expensive single-family houses."
