Kansas Guv Vote Against Chiefs Dome?!?

Something that deserves to be highlighted even more after the election . . .

It seems like Clark Hunt can't keep his power moves away from voters after all.

To wit . . .

WILL MASTERSON'S SWEETHEART KANSAS CITY CHIEFS DEAL SINK HIS CAREER?!?

But it's even sweeter than that because TKC LOVES INCONVENIENT QUESTIONS . . .

COULD KANSAS FISCAL HAWKS TURN THEIR BACK ON MASTERSON BECAUSE OF HIS KANSAS CITY CHIEFS BILLIONAIRE GIVEAWAY?!?

Consider . . .

Already so many Kansas Republicans have admitted that they're going to have to hold their nose whilst voting for Masterson . . . And that's typically not the kind of enthusiasm that moves the dial in tough elections.

Here's a glimpse at the showdown if Holscher can keep from being distracted by debating over the benefit of trans toilets . . .

Check-it . . .

Republican Ty Masterson and Democrat Cindy Holscher pulled through with 43% and 48% of voter support, respectively.

While the candidates differ on typical party lines, their opinion on the future of the new Chiefs' stadium will be a major player throughout their campaign season.

Masterson has backed the deal from the beginning and played a big part in the framework behind it as the president of Senate.

Holscher, on the other hand, is in support of the Chiefs' big move, but won't stand for the "billionaire giveaway" she says the current deal supports.

"That exploratory part, you know, that was fine," Holscher said. "But what was put together by Ty Masterson and a small group of lawmakers was a deal that was a billionaire giveaway."
