Kansas Data Center Crackdown On Public Meeting Clapping Redux

A tense realization that authorities in the U.S. won't refuse to follow silly orders. 

To be fair for #TBT . . . We should also remember when KCPD refused to enforce the same kind of hardline tactics for people who weren't wearing masks "properly" during the public meetings amid the pandemic despite the outcry of some council members.

Here's another worthwhile write-up of data center outcry . . . Check-it:  

"At the July 22 meeting to vote on the rezoning, the mood was tense. Residents had spent weeks voicing concerns about the project, while commissioners had begun receiving what residents described as credible death threats.

"Then, about an hour into the meeting, a high school physics teacher was carried from the room after clapping for a speaker."
